Your Surrogacy Journey

Becoming a surrogate is starting an incredible journey, where every step you take brings a family closer to their dream of having a baby. Let’s take a walk through each step of your surrogacy journey with Delaware Surrogacy Center, making sure you know what to expect at every milestone.

Step 1: PreScreening

Your journey begins by filling out a surrogate application. If your application meets our surrogate requirements, you'll connect with our Surrogate Coordinator. This step also involves a thorough review of your medical records and a background check to ensure a safe and successful surrogacy journey.

Step 2: Consultation

You, and your primary support person or spouse, will have a video call with us to discuss the journey ahead and ensure you feel supported and informed.

Step 3: Matching

This step involves identifying a great match with intended parents, sharing profiles, and having a video call to get to know each other.

Step 4: Medical Screening & Legal

You'll visit the IVF clinic for a medical screening, ensuring everything is in place for a healthy pregnancy. During this step, you'll work with an attorney to start and finalize contract negotiations, ensuring all legal aspects are covered.

Step 5: Monitoring and Transfer

Once medically approved, you'll begin medications and attend local monitoring appointments to ensure your body is responding well. When your body is ready, the embryo transfer will take place, marking a pivotal point in your surrogacy journey.

Step 6: Pregnancy

Beta tests at your local clinic will confirm pregnancy, followed by an ultrasound at 6-7 weeks to confirm the heartbeat(s). Troughout the pregnancy, you'll attend routine appointments, build your relationship with the intended parents, share updates, and finally, experience the joyous moment of delivery day!

We’re here to guide, support, and celebrate with you at every step, making sure your journey is filled with care, joy, and shared excitement from start to finish.
